An Update from Suzie's Desk

When the year began, we set the intention to embrace the magic and wonder of life. This sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Six months into the year, lots of things have happened, close to home, in our community, and all across the country and world.

That focus on magic and wonder? It's what keeps us hanging on. Whether I'm finding inspiration in the stars above, the stones and the earth that surrounds me, or the green and growing world outside my window, every day miracles remind me that there is a lot of good in this world. People are standing up for each other, even in the face of incredible hardship. Things may be hard, but together, we can make them better. If that's not magic, I don't know what is. We may not have all the answers we need right this minute, but the answers are there, and we will find them.

Everyone who stands up and says: Here is a place where love matters, where beauty matters, where our connections to our higher selves and each other matters, serves as a lighthouse in dark times. What you're doing is important.
